Well, needless to say, it's been a really busy month! I just finished 2 full weekend runs of the musical, "Meet Me in St. Louis," and in the midst of all of that, I started a Lenten Bible study with Adam Hamilton's Final Words from the Cross, and have continued to be busy with Lent activities at church. This past Friday, we had The BEAtleTudes at church, which was a FANTASTIC evening with Beatles music, reflections on the beatitudes, some media, etc. It was great, the band (select members of the Prayz band) was amazing, the guys worked really hard. We had a lot of press for the event because our offering was taken to help the people affected by the recent storms in Indiana. We had a news paper article (front page!), a morning news interview, and the news showed up to the actual event last night, so we felt like celebrities!
It was a great evening for the church as a whole- just to see that church can be relevant and doing something unique and different. I hope that we made enough of a statement that might even bring some people in to see what it's all about. Time will tell!
