We're Alaska bound!

We leave for Alaska tomorrow...at 3:00 am from Terre Haute to Indy, to Denver, then to Vancouver where we board the cruise ship!  It will be a long day, but it will probably be worth it!  Nothing is too new around here except that I put up a lot of wedding pictures on facebook, and we have even more on the way.  Corey is still waiting to hear back about the church youth job, and we have been rather busy!  This past week was really busy, especially in the evenings.  I now sing in the Praise Band and the Choir, plus meetings on Monday nights, so that takes up 3 of my nights a week, but I'm having a lot of fun.  We went to the Colts pre-season game against the Bengals on Thursday, and we lost horribly, but it was still a great time.  The new stadium is cool, too.

Church today was also fun- I got to teach an (older) adult Sunday school, and we got into a good discussion about prayer and confession of all things.  The lesson was from James, so we talked about the prayerful community and the importance of prayer, accountability, etc.  I had fun teaching!  Corey even got to teach the senior high kids today.

Other than that, not much else is going on- we're spending today packing, trying to stay awake instead of taking my Sunday afternoon nap so we can get up at 3 am, finishing wedding gift thank you notes and watching football.  And later we're going to the senior pastor's house for dinner and to play that board game again (for the 2nd time this weekend!), which means that I'll find a good movie to watch...haha. Hopefully my next post will be full of fun stories from Alaska!  Til then....
